eBay Selling Makes It Simple To Sell From Your iPhone

March 30, 2010

eBay, the popular online auction house,  has had an iPhone app to allow you to access the site as a buyer to search, bid and manage listings you're interested in. Now with the newly released eBay Selling app, you can start making money off of unwanted junk and sell directly from your iPhone in a matter of minutes.

eBay Selling as the name implies, is a selling tool for listing your items to be sold for auction. The app gives you three basic functions: Research, Status and Sell. Using the Research tool, you can look up a similar item and see what you might expect to earn. You can filter to see items that actually ended up selling and set price ranges to see how well items fetched on the auction market. The Status tool gives you an overview of all items you have scheduled to sell, currently selling or have sold. It's essentially the MyEbay tab.

Of course, the heart of the app is selling and under the Sell tab, you have all of the standard options to list your item. Enter your auction title, upload photos using your iPhone camera or insert one from your photo gallery and provide a description along with the pertinent payment and delivery options and you're all set. It literally takes just a few minutes and you're ready to cash in on stuff lying around the house.

As a promotion for the new app, eBay is offering free listing of 4 pictures and waiving the Scheduled Listing Fee for the entire month of April.

eBay Selling does make the selling process really simple for anyone wanting to earn some quick cash selling their unwanted items. Although the app itself is free to download, eBay assesses listing and seller fees based on the final selling price of your item.

You can pick up eBay Selling for free now on the App Store.
