Keeping in close contact with loved ones is easy when you have an iPhone. From calling, texting or sending email, the iPhone does it all. PixyMe, a new app from developer Tukaiz promises to raise the personal quotient by giving users a unique new way to send greetings.
Tukaiz calls this greeting style image personalization. The app offers an array of over a hundred different image templates and a dozen borders to personalize your own photographs. What makes the app unique is the photo realistic quality of the images once they've been personalized. Here's an example.
There is a great variety of images in the photo library to choose from and they are neatly separated into categories to suit all types of occasions like holidays, travel, kids and entertainment. You can also import photos from your own library and use PixyMe's borders to personalize a photo greeting.
Once your creation is completed, you have several options to share your personalized PixyMe greeting. You can save it to your camera roll, email them to loved ones or post them directly to your Facebook account. An even more personal touch is the ability to send your PixyMe in the form of an actual postcard. For $1.99, your creation is printed on card stock and mailed within 2-3 days via the postal service to anywhere in the United States. International delivery is only a dollar more at $2.99.
Sending a smile couldn't be any easier.
PixyMe is $1.99, on the App Store.
