Harry Potter: Spells Gets Touch Controls And Even More Spells - Plus A Chance To Win A Copy

Harry Potter fans are some of the most loyal fans out there, so when Warner Bros. released the spell casting iPhone and iPod touch game, Harry Potter: Spells, fans gobbled it up without even giving it a second thought. After the initial hype wore off, some fans began to question their rather hasty purchase since many had issues casting spells via motion controls, the only included control method in the game. Like any good developer would do, Warner Bros. decided to offer a brand new control scheme via a recent update, touch controls, for those who just couldn't get used to flailing their device around, and to top it off, they added a few new spells.
The new touch control method allows you to easily cast spells by drawing shapes on the screen. This makes dueling against the enemy AI or your friends more of a strategy game than a game of who can flail their iPhone most accurately.
The Harry Potter: Spells v1.2 update also features three new spells, Seprpensortia, Sectumsempra, and Orchideous, improved AI, visual upgrades, and a some bug fixes.
The addition of touch controls will no doubt bring many of those who purchased the game but had a difficult time with the motion controls back to the spell casting world.
