iPhone And Android Users Can Now Knock And Share Live Video With Each Other

March 24, 2010

Knocking Live Video by Pointy Heads had a very rough launch in December, with servers being brought to their knees from the sudden influx of new users wanting to get a taste of free live video streaming. Pointy Heads seem to have smoothed out most of the kinks since that time, and have now brought the app to the Android platform, allowing iPhone and Android users to share live streaming video with each other. Below is a demonstration of an iPhone and a Nexus One sharing live video via Knocking Live Video.

But that's not the only news coming out of Pointy Heads today. The company has also updated the iPhone version of Knocking Live Video with expanded user profiles, new user registration to allow you to have one account for multiple devices, Twitter Connect, and enhanced server capabilities to supply faster load times and connections. Apparently the server enhancements were extremely necessary, as the company claims Knocking Live Video is being download about 13,000 times per day. Now if only I knew someone with an Android phone to try this out...
