Navigon MobileNavigator Gets More Affordable With Regional Maps
With the warm weather months just a few months away, navigating to your favorite vacation destination just got a little more affordable thanks to the arrival of the new MyRegion from Navigon.
With the release of Navigon MyRegion, GPS mapping is now available in three separate geographic regions and will be sold for an introductory sale price of $24.99 each. The regions available are West, Central and East. The sale price will be available until April 12th, at which time the app will go up to its regular price of $29.99. Additionally, Navigon will make any of the other two regions available for an in app purchase price of $12.99 if you decide you need them later on after your initial single region purchase.
The regional pricing and the initial discounts makes for a great bargain given the entire North America MobileNavigator app is $79.99.
Like the North America MobileNavigator, the three new MyRegion apps will include all of the great features currently found in MobileNavigator version 1.4 including the newly introduced Navigon MyRoute. By adapting to driving styles, MyRoute enhances the user experience by providing better customized route options and even offering two alternative routes for drivers to choose from.
Users can also take advantage of Navigon's Traffic Live service to get crowd-sourced traffic updates for better route handling. This is an optional feature that requires a one time in app purchase. Promotional pricing for the service will be available for $19.99 until April 12th (price returns to regular price $24.99 after April 12).
By giving the user the choice of the third of the country most important and at one third of the price of North America MobileNavigator, MyRegion is a great value and a prime opportunity for users to experience Navigon's great navigation app.
