Need An Incentive To Finish A Task? Dunnit! Awards You With OpenFeint Achievements
March 3, 2010
So here's a crazy idea. What if a to-do app offered incentives for adding tasks, tagging, and completing them kind of like games currently do? Would you be any more productive? Runloop thinks so, which is why they created Dunnit!, a fairly simple to-do app that awards you with achievements via OpenFeint.
Dunnit! features a straightforward interface that lists all of your tasks in one section so you are constantly aware of what needs to be done. Tasks are ordered and grouped intelligently, providing access to the ones that need to be completed first. Tasks can be added manually one by one, repeated, or even copied from a different app. They can also be tagged for better grouping. Completed tasks remain viewable on you task list until deleted. Deleted tasks can be accessed in history in case you need them.
Alright, so Dunnit! still sounds like your everyday to-do app, but the OpenFeint and Twitter integration is what really sets it apart. Dunnit! features tons of achievements for everything from leveling up (accruing points) to completing a set number of tasks. These achievements can be compared and shared with friends via OpenFeint or Twitter, allowing you to prove that you truly are more productive than your friends or coworkers.
Dunnit! doesn't offer too many extra bells and whistles for the hardcore GTD person, but it should get you by while also providing a bit of fun. Dunnit! is available in the App Store for $4.99.
