Plants Vs Zombies HD is an approved app that will be available April 3rd for your shiny new iPad. The game will be practically a full port of the PC version rather than an upscaled iPhone version. PvZ will feature more than just the adventure mode in the iPhone version, providing the mini-games, survival mode, and quick play mode of the PC version.
The game will be iPad native resolution which is the same resolution as the PC game. A fun tidbit is that multi-touch is incorporated in the gameplay with the ability to play up to 11 simultaneous touch points according to Popcap. There is one iPad exclusive mini-game, as well as iPad exclusive achievements.
Plants vs. Zombies HD will be $9.99 for practically a multi-touch PC version. Get ready for the Popcap cookiness on the iPad. The price is subject to change, though for a full PC port Popcap seems to have a great deal.
