Popular BlackBerry Note-Taking App BugMe! Now Available For iPhone
March 18, 2010
Things just couldn't be any better for BlackBerry turned iPhone users right now. First the popular local search app Poynt was reimagined for the iPhone, and now the popular note-taking app BugMe! gets new life on our favorite touch-screen device.
BugMe! is simple and flexible app that's perfect for those moments when you just need to jot down a quick note while on-the-go. The tip of your finger acts as your digital pen in BugMe! for the iPhone, unlike previous versions of the app where text was entered via keyboard. When creating a new note you can choose from a variety of different background colors and pen colors, or you can add a picture from your camera roll to the background to annotate it. Finished notes can be rearranged on the screen by tapping and holding to lift the note and dragging to the desired spot.
Notes can also be shared via a variety of methods. You can send the note to Twitter, send it to a friend via email, add it to your photo album to transfer over to your computer, or save it as an icon to your home screen to act as a tiny reminder.
Those very important notes can be set-up with alarms that will sound at a specified time and send you a notification. The only downside is that alarms require an Internet connection to sound off, so iPod touch users may not want to rely on this feature.
BugMe! is the perfect app for anyone looking to jot down simple notes, and it's clean interface makes doing so a breeze. At the introductory price of $.99, it's worth checking out.
