Send And Receive Encoded Messages With Secret Crypto Wonder Badge
March 25, 2010

Secret Crypto Wonder Badge works something like this. When you first launch the app you must choose a primary code dial, which is either Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie. Once selected a dial will be revealed allowing you to create a unique combination that you must lock in by tapping the center lock button in order to encode/decode a message.
To encode a secret message just tap the "Encode" button at the bottom of the screen and start typing. After you are finished, tap the "Engage" button and your message will be encoded. This super secret message can then be sent off to a friend via email to be decoded. When you send an encoded message to a friend, the primary code and the combination is left out, because it wouldn't be much of a secret if it was included, would it? Just make sure that your recipient is already aware of the primary code and combination before sending the message.
To decode a message, just copy and paste the numeric code into the open field. Messages that aren't able to be copied can be entered manually to be decoded as well.
Besides being fun to use, Secret Crypto Wonder Badge is also easy on the eyes. The app features two different themes to choose from. The default SteamPunk theme or HiTech. More themes will be added to the app via updates along with Contacts integration and discussion history. Theme specific sounds are also on the developers list of future additions.
Secret Crypto Wonder Badge is a entertaining and original way to communicate with your iPhone toting friends; and those of you who are old enough to remember secret decoder rings will definitely appreciate the style and simplicity of this $2.99 app.
