The guys over at Touch Foo we're kind enough to let us know that Soosiz HD is coming to the iPad, and will be part of iPad App Store launch. If you don't know Soosiz it's a platformer that is simply amazing with hours and hours of fun, and a unique gameplay mechanic where Soosiz jumps from planet to planet, and is affected by the gravity of each one.
Our number four game of all time is getting the HD treatment meaning it will be optimized to take full advantage of the iPad's larger screen, more pixels, and higher pixel density. The game will play pretty much the same, but with the outstanding cartoon art of the Soosiz world fitting the screen nicely, not all blotchy with double pixels.
The controls on the iPhone version are practically as good as can be, but even so your thumbs take up a considerable portion of the screen. Now that is no longer the case, as that cramped feeling is being relaxed by the extra screen real estate.
