It hasn't been the greatest week for iPhone game deals, but at least we can end it with a bang. Glu's How To Train Your Dragon and XLab's MonsterTruck Rally, two games that are originally priced at $.99, are both on sale for only $.99 for a limited time. How to Train Your Dragon ($2.99 -> $.99): Based on the 3D animated film by the same name, How to Train Your Dragon allows you to soar through the skies on the back of a dragon as you complete tasks, carry out missions, and compete for the fastest flight times. The game is basically a re-skinned Glyder 2 with a more simple flying mechanic, so if you enjoyed that one, this one should be right up your alley. If you have grown tired of Glyder 2 however, you may want to steer clear. The game features responsive accelerometer controls, achievements, free roaming environments, and unlockable extras such as film stills and cheat codes. How to Train Your Dragon will be on sale for a limited time. MonsterTruck Rally ($2.99 -> $.99): If racing large trucks with gigantic tires is your thing, MonsterTruck Rally for the iPhone and iPod touch is sure to please. Take one of five different monster trucks and race through four 3D tracks with varying offroad terrain in hopes of leaving the rest of the pack eating your dust. The game features fantastic 3D graphics, three game modes including online multiplayer where you can compete against monster truck racers from all over the world, accelerometer controls, and real-life physics. MonsterTruck Rally will be on sale for $.99 through the weekend. Whether you're into to racing dragons or monster trucks, these deals should be enough to get your heart racing as well.
