We've known about Chillingo iPad games, but we were requested to keep a lid on it. We'll the lid is bursting off as 13 iPad exclusive Chillingo games are approved for launch of the iPad App Store. There are some really well known games getting the HD treatment.

Minigore is a beautiful 3D game on the iPhone, and should do really well with the HD treatment. A new control method is included in addition to the dual sticks where you simply point and John Gore walks to that point and handles the guns. Cogs HD looks to give you the full PC experience with the same graphics and gameplay. It's also one flat fee without $0.99 level packs like the iPhone version.
Angry Birds HD has iPad native graphics, and a better interface for deploying your angry birds. Radio Flare Redux is an outstanding game, but always felt cramped as your fingers take up so much of the screen on an iPhone. Now the wonderful graphics will be enhanced, and you'll have much more room to see.
Sneezies HD features upscaled graphics for every piece of art so you can see those cute little sneezies in HD. Sword of Fargoal Legends is a classic dungeon crawler, and I mean classic with retro art, and wonderful retro gameplay. This isn't really an HD game, it's just a more expansive dungeon display. Super Shock Football HD now on the iPad makes it as close to having an actual electric vibrating football table, with enhanced graphics.
Cash Cow Deluxe presents coin matching fun with crisp clean graphics, and plenty more room to make some money. The creators of Toki Tori are bring the Ice Age Three themed version of their game to the iPad with iPad specific graphics which will make you feel like you're watching the movie. Piyo Blocks is a little known match three game that was self-published, but now the sequel in HD is being published by Chillingo. Puzzler World XL gives you word searches, sudokus and crosswords taking full advantage of the bigger interface.
Now there are two other new games that look phenomenal. The first is GEON HD where you roll the geon trying to collect all the pellets and reach all of the goals on expansive grids. The game looks stunning with the HD graphics, and there are two control methods to tilt or on screen d-pad.
Finally Quantz HD which looks to be the best of the bunch. It's an action puzzle game where you control a cube rotating it 360 degrees, and fire marbles at it trying to make chains of like colors. The game is about making colored explosions into chain reactions across all faces of the cube.
Every game has Crystal for online high score and achievements. This looks like an amazing line-up, and the best we've seen from one publisher. I guess we will wait to Saturday to see how they perform.
