Click.Clock HD For iPad Available For Free Today

April 22, 2010

Remember coffeecoding's click.clock HD?  You know, the designer clock app for iPad that we gave away on this very site about one week ago?  Well, that same app is available for free today in celebration of Earth Day, giving you another chance to obtain the stylish app without having to rely on luck. click.clock HD turns your iPad into a digital clock that's extremely stylish and practical. The app displays hours (military time), minutes, and seconds in a spiraling, high-resolution form that’s viewable in both portrait and landscape modes. click.clock HD also conveniently disables your iPad’s auto-lock function while it is connected to an external power source so your clock is always on display. It also features the ability to quickly dim your iPad’s backlight by simply tapping and holding on any portion of the screen. click.clock HD is more than just a digital clock, however.  It also features basic iPod controls. If you tap the screen once, iPod controls will pop-up displaying which band, song, and album you are currently listening to along with a play/pause button in the lower left-hand corner. When a song is a playing you can skip to the previous or next song by swiping left or right. click.clock HD is normally available in the App Store for $.99, but today only (4/22/10) it is available for free. If you are an iPhone-only kind of person, coffeecoding also has two other versions of the app available for the iPhone and iPod touch, but they will set you back $1.99 each.
