Gameloft Releases Brothers In Arms 2 HD And Three New Hidden Object Games For iPad
April 28, 2010
Gameloft has been on a bit of a roll lately regarding iPad game releases. In the last two days the well-known publisher has released four iPad-only titles, three of which are hidden object games and one that is a graphically enhanced iPhone port.
Brothers In Arms 2: Global Front HD for iPad is identical to its iPhone and iPod touch counterpart feature-wise. It contains the same amount of locations, levels, game modes, weapons, and vehicles. The only difference is that the graphics have been taken up a notch for the iPad. The price is a bit higher as well at $7.99 instead of $6.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch version. If you haven't experienced the game on your iPhone or iPod touch, the enhanced visuals make that extra dollar seem trivial. But if you have, you may just want to steer clear.
The iPad's large screen makes it a great hidden object game machine, which Gameloft has apparently realized since they recently published three hidden object games by French developer Anuman.
The three hidden object games include: Frankenstein - The Dismembered Bride HD, Hollywood The Director's Cut HD, and Secret's Of The Vatican HD. All three games contain generally the same features, with varying amounts of beautiful locations to visit, 2x zoom, two modes of play, unlimited hints, and more. Each game is priced at $4.99.
On that note, how do you feel about Gameloft's iPad game pricing so far? Is it about what you had expected?
