Gameloft Releases First Screenshots Of Iron Man 2 For iPhone, iPod Touch, And iPad

With the premiere of Iron Man 2 looming, Gameloft decided there is no better time than the present to show off some screenshots for their iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad game adaptation of the highly anticipated film. Since Iron Man 2 for Apple's iDevices is an official film to game adaptation, it will closely follow the story of the film.

Rocket into the action as Iron Man in the official movie game. With Iron Man now a worldwide hero, Tony Stark is the top weapons contractor for the government, and the top target for his enemies who have developed their own high-tech weaponry. On the ground and in the skies, Iron Man will go head-to-head against Ultimo, Firepower, Whiplash and armies of other foes who want to take him down. But who is really pulling the strings of this sudden onslaught against Iron Man? He’ll need the help of War Machine and S.H.I.E.L.D. to defeat them all.

In the game you will be able to take control of Iron Man and War Machine, each with their own specific armor and moves.  As Iron Man, you will have the ability to fly around the environments freely in search of famous Iron Man foes. That's pretty much the gist of it for now, but you should know what to expect.  It's Gameloft after all. Iron Man 2 doesn't have an official launch date or price yet, but Gameloft has stated it will be hitting the App Store "soon." Check out the rest of the brand new screenshots below.
