iFlickWars - Pencil and Paper Games Come To iPhone

There have been a number of 70's and 80's style, retro games released for iPhone recently. iFlickWars is a another great example in this genre. Originally this game only required a piece of paper and a pencil to play and so it's simplicity translates to the iPhone perfectly.
iFlickWars involves each player taking a turn to move a ship or fire a weapon by "flicking" a pencil on the paper. The trace left on the paper is where your ship moves or fires, simple. It may sound a bit crazy if you have never played a game like this before but believe me, it works. It can be very entertaining and the kids will love it too. The styling of the game is such that you really feel like you are playing the game on a scrap of paper on an old school desk. iFlickWars has also been adapted for iPad so you can really take advantage of the larger screen.
If you ever played pencil war games at school then you'll instantly fall in love iFlickWars, if you didn't it may take a little time to get used to. It's well worth taking the time to learn how to play because it can be great fun.
iFlickWars is available in the App Store - $0.99
