Igloo Games Is Bringing All Four Of Their Games To The iPad In One Package - Plus On Sale and iPhone Potential

April 2, 2010

Igloo Games, the makers of Dizzy Bee 1 & 2, Flipside, and Bed Bugs, isn't just bringing one game, or two, or even three, but four games to the iPad as one app. Igloo Games Arcade features all four of their games with beautiful iPad native graphics of their wonderful cartoon art. Igloo games hasn't only bumped up the graphics, but rather retooled the gameplay of each game. Both Dizzy Bees have a new control method for the iPad allowing for touch controls. Just slide and hold to affect gravity which changes the game a lot, and allows a whole new play method. Also there are new easier modes in the Dizzy Bees to allow for fun for every user. A unique feature is also included called dual user mode which allows two players to play two different games on the same iPad. You can play Dizzy Bee 2 while your friend tries Flipside. The iPad splits the screen in half, and you sit across from each other with the chance to play any game of your choosing and switch at any time. Currently Flippin' VS is included so you can play live head to head of Flippin' on the same device with each action effecting the player right across the iPad, and vice versa. A free update is already planned which is Dizzy Bee Co-Op where one player controls dizzy bee and the fruits while another controls the enemies and everything else. This is more vs than co-op, but still creative as you can be. If you buy each iPhone app separate it will cost you $11 for all four games. Igloo Games Arcade costs only $6.99 for enhanced graphics of those games, plus the amazing dual and versus modes as well as not having to go in separate apps to play the different games. A deluxe profile system is included so that each user can have their own saved files for each of the four games. Maybe the best news yet for iPhone/iPod Touch users is that an update in a couple weeks will make this game a universal app which allows this amazing iPad package on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Back to the iPad part of the update, there will be a brand new Dizzy Bee level that is roughly nine times a normal level, and will be loaded with fruits, bumpers, gears, and enemies. Finally Igloo Games Arcade is on sale today only April 2nd until midnight. You can pick up this amazing $6.99 iPad game for only $0.99, that's right $0.99 for all four games in one, dual player mode, versus mode, new controls, easy levels. It will provide access to the free update which will make this a universal app with the new game features detailed above for your iPhone/iPod Touch. What do you think of this iPad app, the best yet?
