With opening day in baseball and the launch of the iPad this weekend, Major League Baseball has officially released the iPad version of their award winning AtBat 2010 for you to enjoy on Apple's new tablet. Touted, as a new way to experience baseball, MLB AtBat 2010 for iPad will bring together all of the great comprehensive coverage and amazing user interface design that has made AtBat a must have for the die hard fan. You'll get enhanced box scores with every stat from every game and video highlights so you don't miss any of the action. Like the iPhone app, you'll be able to listen in to radio broadcast of every game of the regular and post season and even be able to choose to hear the play by play by the home or away announcers. The biggest innovation and the reason to own this app will be the ability to watch live streaming games with enhanced features made exclusively for the iPad. Games will be be presented to you in full screen on the iPad's display with overlays of game stats and box scores that you can access at a simple press of the screen. DVR functionality has also been integrated to allow you to pause and rewind for your own instant replays. It should be noted that access to live streaming content is available for subscribers to MLB.TV's service which begin at $19.95/month or $99.95/year.

For nonsubscribers to the MLB.TV service, you'll still be able to follow all of the action with the radio broadcasts and a feature called GameDay. This feature follows the in game action by providing you with simulated graphics and pitch by pitch information for you to keep track of the game.
