NimbleBit Reveals Dizzypad HD For iPad

NimbleBit's highly addictive lily pad leaping game for the iPhone and iPod touch, Dizzypad, will be making its way to the iPad in HD form relatively soon, as the game has already been submitted to Apple for review. Dizzypad HD will feature the same classic gameplay as the original, just in high resolution form, along with 30 unlockable frogs (up from the 18 that the iPhone version contains) and Plus+ integration.  All of this will be available free of charge as opposed to the iPhone version's $1.99 price tag.  But that's actually only the beginning. NimbleBit will be offering three new game modes for Dizzypad HD, each available for $1.99 as in-app purchases.  Game modes include:

• Sliders: A fun twist on the classic mode. Test your timing with pads that slide back and forth instead of rotating in place.
• Memory: Be a froggy matchmaker and test your memory by picking frog pairs. Guaranteed to sharpen your wits.
• Battle: Duke it out on the pond with a friend in this 2 player mode! Try your best to gobble each other up until your frog grows the largest.

For those of you who just can't wait to see Dizzypad HD in action, NimbleBit has thrown together a gameplay video, which includes a demo of all four game modes.

But that's STILL not all.  Since April is U.S. National Frog Month, NimbleBit will be making Dizzypad for iPhone available for free on Friday, April 23rd, so mark your calendars.  If you don't have a calendar, just watch the site as usual and we will be sure to remind you.  This is a deal you just can't pass up.
