Android Now Available For The iPhone 3G
May 21, 2010
All this chatter about Google's upcoming new version of Android OS may have you wondering how is life on the other side of the touchscreen. We can't blame you (or can we?), but the good news is that you don't have to trade-in your beloved iPhone to see for yourself.
Indeed, after his first success with the iPhone 2G, Planetbeing just finished porting Android OS to the iPhone 3G. You can download the binaries directly from his site, and check out his very own how-to on PCWorld (link). I wouldn't recommend trying this to anybody as there are still many issues with it. One of them being that it kills your battery in less than hour. Nevertheless, it's an exciting achievement.
