July 11th, 2008 was a fateful day. No it wasn't the day Oceanic Airlines flight 815 crashed, nor the first time Jack Bauer had a horrible 24 hours, and it wasn't the first time we opened the Shrek fairy tale. Those three franchises all sadly concluded over the past week. Luckily one franchise is still going strong.
July 11th, 2008 was the launch of the App Store, and the consequent launch of AppleiPhoneApps.com. After a name change, many different writers, and 5,000 posts later AppAdvice is at the point it is today. We have our very own
universal app to run natively on your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. We have 500,000+ readers every week and growing all the time. We provide news, reviews, appisodes, appguides, applists, and full featured app listings.
There are now over 200,000 apps in the App Store so there is plenty of work for us to do to keep bringing you great app coverage. There are three types of idevices with a new generation iPhone right around the corner. These are great times to be an idevice owner, and great times to find the best bang for your buck when buying apps with higher quality entering the App Store every day.
