The iDevice universe is expanding by the minute and knows only Foxconn's production rates as its restraint. On top of that, the App Store is overflowing, Steve can't take his finger off the reply button, and prototype leaks are now a daily routine. Therefore, to cater to our 500,000+ iDevice-news hungry readers we're looking to expand the AppAdvice team. More precisely, we're looking for a couple highly-awesome news writers and app experts.
The news position consists essentially of the every-minute challenge of getting all the iDevice-related news out, possibly before it even happens. This can be anything from new app releases to wacky rumors about Apple signing an exclusive deal with Globalstar to carry the iPhone 5 worldwide. As I said, it's a challenge and you must be able to get tons of posts out every single day of the year.
As an app expert on the other hand you'll be working on our AppGuide and AppList sections. You must really know the App Store and everything it has to offer. Basically, we want people that were part of a top secret experiment by Apple where they implanted the App Store database right into your brain. That is however not a requirement. Also be warned that it's way more challenging than it sounds.
To have a shot, you really must know how to write and what you're talking about. Also, this is clearly the most amazing thing you will do in your life, but it takes some dedication. In exchange, we'll give you fame, more apps than your iDevice can handle and even some cash if you're awesome.
