Apple's iBookstore To Go International Along The iPad

Considering how slow Apple is at getting the iTunes movie store rolling outside the US, I must admit I had pretty much given up on iBooks for the old continent.
Well, it seems like Apple has gotten more ambitious for the iPad, and is apparently planning to launch its iBookstore internationally along the iPad on May 28th. Alright, it might not come everywhere, as Switzerland and Germany haven't been confirmed yet, but we're hoping this is just a matter of some paperwork that still needs to be signed. Further, we're also hoping that local iBookstores won't be too overpriced or restricted in their offerings, but that wouldn't be that much of a surprise actually.
