FDG Entertainment Announces Physics Gamebox For iPhone And iPad

May 19, 2010

FDG Entertainment, the developers of Parachute Panic HD, Across Age, and Bobby Carrot just to name a few, has announced that they will be bringing two popular Flash-based physics games over to the iPhone and iPad in Physics Gamebox. Physics Gamebox will feature two games in one package: Roly-Poly Cannon and Ragdoll Cannon.  The two games were originally created by Russian developer "Johnny-K," and have been played by millions of fans since their launch.  In the company's press release, FDG points out that Ragdoll Cannon was the first of its kind, and that the game "has seen many copycat versions including a very popular one on iPhone."  You can probably guess which game they are referring to. Descriptions for the two games are included below: Roly-Poly Cannon - A physics destruction game. Tap the screen to fire bombs from a huge cannon. Carefully target and shoot the evil Roly-Polys to eliminate them. But don ́t hit the peaceful folk, otherwise it's game over. Includes a total of 100 levels. Ragdoll Cannon - The game that apparently started the ragdoll shooting craze.  Give your ragdolls one last hug when you shoot them through tricky levels to hit the target.  Show no mercy when you fire them against walls, stones, and other obstacles to reach your ultimate goal. Includes a total of 200 levels. Physics Gamebox for iPhone and iPod touch will be hitting the App Store in June for $2.99.  Physics Gamebox HD for iPad will be available in July for $6.99. Tons of screenshots for both titles are available in the gallery below. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
