Gomi HD Will Be Rolling Into The App Store Soon - Screenshots Included
May 3, 2010
Bovinedragon Software has announced that Gomi, the team's popular and colorful platformer, will be making its way to the iPad in optimized form as Gomi HD. The new title has already been submitted to Apple, so barring any major issues, it should be arriving in the App Store very soon.
Gomi HD features entirely redone graphics, with all of the in-game graphics running at twice the resolution as the original. The team has also made use of the iPad's larger screen by zooming the camera out a bit in order to give players a much better view of each level.
The game still features all of the same enjoyable platforming and rolling elements that the original did, along with the same eight worlds, 140+ stages, eight unique abilities, mini games, achievements, online leader boards, original music, and hours and hours of gameplay.
Gomi HD will be priced at $4.99 when it hits the App Store. If you haven't experienced the original's rolling and platforming goodness on your iPhone or iPod touch, you should definitely consider taking Gomi HD for a spin on your iPad.
