International iPad Pricing Detailed & Compared

May 8, 2010

Following yesterday's update on iPad international availability; Apple is slowly starting to publish local press releases featuring pricing.

iPad prices, however, slightly differ from country to country and tend to be a bit hard to find. Fortunately, Italian Apple-centric blog SetteB.it has done a great job compiling all these in one chart, including taxes and Euro equivalents for a convenient overlook (featured above). As you can see, Apple has clearly made an effort to keep the prices low. Even the German iPad, the most expensive one on the chart, is only about a 100€ pricier than its American equivalent. A difference mostly explainable by various local taxes.

How do you folks feel about these prices?
