iPhone Accelerometer + Cool 3D Graphics = Awesome FixPix Game
Creating a successful and fun casual game for the iPhone doesn't require too much. Just take some simple and accessible game play and mix in some eye pleasing graphics and go. Doodle Jump has managed to use that formula to some amazing success and if early buzz is any indication, developer eBoy has a tremendous hit on their hands with their upcoming FixPix.
FixPix combines the look of a Where's Waldo painting mixed in with some 80's era 8 bit graphics to create a tilt friendly puzzle game. The object is very simple: tilt and rotate your iPhone until objects in the image are aligned correctly giving us the aptly titled "FixPix." The game play mechanics employ the use of the accelerometer to make it all work but what makes this game really stand out is the amazing eye candy and appeal of the 3D graphics. If you've tried out HoloToy in the App Store, you'll know what I mean.
FixPix's release date has not been made official but we'll be sure to let you know when this one drops on the App Store. In the meantime, feast your eyes on this demo.
