Phoenix Wright has finally made its way into the App Store. It's a welcomed surprise after what has seemed like an eternity since it was first announced. Phoenix Wright for iPhone is actually a direct port of the game by the same name for Nintendo DS. It's actually so direct of a port that the game plays exactly like the DS version, just with the dual screens of the DS stacked on top of each other for the iPhone. The game allows you to play as Phoenix Wright, a rookie defense attorney with all the skills to defend his clients no matter how dire the situation looks. It features two distinctly different gameplay segments. One where you will search for clues and evidence at crime scenes and interview witnesses; and the other where you present your findings in a courtroom, listen to testimonies, and try to separate fact from fiction in order to prove your client's innocence. Phoenix Wright for iPhone includes all five cases from the Nintendo DS version, which makes its $4.99 price all the more appealing. If you haven't played the Nintendo DS version, there should be nothing stopping you from giving the iPhone version a try.
