For the one time fee of $.99, you get 200 different board layouts, over 40 tileset artwork choices with more on the way, tons of different pre-designed backgrounds, and the ability to import your own photos to create custom backgrounds. All of this is available in both iPhone and iPad versions of the game in high resolution form. MobileAge is also working on bringing some new features to Shanghai Mahjong, including improved strategic gameplay, score history for layouts, and extensive game stats, which gives you something to look forward to. If somehow you are still not convinced to give this one a try, MobileAge has a free version of Shanghai Mahjong available that's also universal and doesn't include ads. However, it only includes two of the 200 board layouts and none of the 40 tileset artwork choices. Shanghai Mahjong is on sale for a limited time, so don't wait to pick this one up for only $.99.
