Best of E3: Chillingo Shows Predators And It Looks Killer

Chillingo had a great E3 lineup, but one of their titles was special enough to stand out for a separate post. Angry Mob Games, developers of Guerilla Bob, is teaming with Chillingo and Fox Digital Entertainment to bring you Predators for iPhone to go along with the movie release. The game is officially licensed so the actors voices will be included as well as a similar storyline. While playing the game the only thing I could think the entire time was, “this is an iPhone game?” You truly do play as Predator with the stealth generator, thermal vision, shoulder cannon, smart discs, net gun, wrist blades, and spear. It’s an outstanding experience running around with all these weapons at your disposal against the weak and frail humans. The animations you have to see to believe as Predator slices up the humans, stabs into them, or blasts them away. It’s amazing tearing the humans up piece by piece with the gushing of blood that brings a slight curl to the edge of your lips. Once you’re invisible or using the thermal vision you truly feel the power of Predator, and you will need to use those abilities well to avoid unnecessary damage. The game controls so well that you never once consider them, you just pick up and instantly recognize everything, and enjoy. There are 24 deluxe missions in total of hunting and capturing human skulls. It’s expected to be released before the movie which is coming July 9th, 2010 so the wait isn’t too much longer.
