Today we have a wide variety of iPhone apps and games that have gone free, but as you may have already noticed, we are once again lacking iPad apps. Hopefully this doesn't become a trend.
AC-130 Spectre ($2.99 -> Free): A touch or tilt controlled shooting game where you rain bullets from the sky in order to destroy enemy forces. The game delivers a real-life feel with 3D graphics and night vision. It also features medals to unlock.
The game isn't currently iOS 4 compatible, meaning it actually won't launch on iOS 4 devices, but the developers say an update is coming this week.

Pirate Jump ($.99 -> Free): A rather simplistic jumping game, probably best for the kids, that requires you to tilt and turn your device to climb as high as you can. The game features a single power-up that makes you jump higher. Also, certain platforms give away, not allowing you to jump on them more than once.

Perseus Jump ($.99 -> Free): Yet another jumping game, only this time you are Perseus. The game features the usual tilt to control mechanics, power-ups, and obstacles to avoid. It also features OpenFeint integration.

Snow Globe Maker Beach ($.99 -> Free): Kick off the beach season with your own customized snow globe images. The app allows you to combine your own photos with personalized beach snow globes and send them off to friends and family via email or upload to Facebook.

HorseShoes Pro ($.99 -> Free): A flick-based horseshoe tossing game by Skyworks. Touch and flick upwards to chuck horseshoes, where the direction and speed of your flick affects your throw. The game features multiple modes of play including local multiplayer, and online and local leaderboards.

Mr. Space!! ($.99 -> Free): A simple but addictive action game where you must move your character to the open space before the ceiling and floor smash together. You can control your character via touch or flick controls. The game also features online leaderboards.
