iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: N.Y. Zombies, Fantasy Date, iLLusions!, And More

WWDC got in the way of our apps gone free list making for a little while, but now that we have fully recovered, things should be back to normal. Today's list contains a unique variety of apps, including visual illusions, zombie slaying, watermelon throwing, and even yo mama jokes.
N.Y. Zombies ($1.99 -> Free): An on-rails zombie shooter set in New York. You won't actually be controlling the movement of your character, just your aim via touch and drag. The game features multiple settings, six upgradeable weapons, two modes of play, online leaderboards, and more. N.Y. Zombies is available for free today only (6/10). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating. Watermelon! ($1.99 -> Free): Another shooter-like game, only this time you will be throwing slices of watermelon at robots. Robots approach from all over the screen, and you are able to tilt your device from side to side to get aligned with them and tap to throw your watermelon. The game features two modes of play, multiple levels of difficulty, and 800 waves of robots. Watermelon! is available for free today only (6/10). It currently has a three-star rating. Fantasy Date ($1.99 -> Free): An interactive streaming video game that has you attempting to pick-up women and date them. The game gives you a series of questions and multiple choice answers, and you must choose the best one in order to "win" the game. The game contains four women with their own animated videos, each of which can be considered a level. You can obtain more via in-app purchase. Fantasy Date is available for free through Sunday, June 13th. It currently has a four-star rating. iLLusions! ($.99 -> Free): A simple illusion app that features tons of different illusions and easy to read explanations for each one. You can choose from a list of illusions, keep swiping, or shake for a random illusion. Illusions can be emailed to a friend as well. iLLusions! is available for free today only (6/10). It has a four-star rating. Bubble Pop ($.99 -> Free): A match-3 game where you must remove all of the bubbles from the level before time runs out. The game is kind of like Tetris, except pieces come from the bottom instead of the top and they can't be spun. An indicator shows you where the pieces will be placed when released and which combination is coming up next. Bubble Pop is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating. iPad-only: Yo Mama HD ($.99 -> Free): Just like its iPhone counterpart, Yo Mama HD is a simple app that displays tons of different "yo mama" jokes by simply tapping on a category. More jokes and more features will be added to this iPad version via free updates. Yo Mama HD is available for free today only (6/10). It currently has no rating.
