iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Pushme.to, Soccer Sudoku 2010, Babo Crash HD, And More
June 3, 2010
Today's list may be one of our longest yet, so we are going to get right into it and keep things brief. We don't want to waste your app testing time.
Pushme.to ($2.99 -> Free): A messaging service that provides you with your own web page or Facebook widget from which anyone can send text or pictures for free to the app. Received messages can be accessed and managed via the app or web interface as well.
Pushme.to is available for free for a limited time. It currently has a four-star rating.
Befuddled: Core Edition ($.99 -> Free): A word game that features power-ups and relaxing gameplay. This Core Edition features ads at first and is limited in features, but the more you play the more you unlock. Eventually if you play enough the ads will completely go away, and you will receive more game options.
Befuddled: Core Edition is available for free today only (6/3). The game has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
Shark Tale ($.99 -> Free): A simple matching game where you must remove eggs from the board by tapping two-like colors. A single egg can remove up to three other eggs, which will give you a bonus. The game also features two different modes.
Shark Tale is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. Oddly enough, it has a perfect five-star rating.
Octo's Tales 2 ($.99 -> Free): A simple tap-shooting game where you must help the octopus survive as long as possible by destroying enemy fire. The game features four different game modes, including multiplayer.
Octo's Tales 2 is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. The game has a three-star rating.
Soccer Sudoku 2010 ($.99 -> Free): A soccer inspired Sudoku game. Play as one of the 32 teams participating in the World Cup and solve Sudoku puzzles. You can play a relaxing game, a timed game, or a challenging game to move up the ranks.
Soccer Sudoku 2010 is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. The game doesn't currently have a rating. You can change that!
Universal:
Babo Crash HD ($.99 -> Free): A fast-paced match-3 game where the more gems you match at once, the more powerful the power-up you receive is. The game features 21 levels and OpenFeint leaderboards. It's also universal, so you can play it on both your iPhone and iPad.
Babo Crash HD is available for free today only. It currently has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
iPad only:
Soccer Sudoku 2010 for iPad ($1.99 -> Free): Just like the iPhone version above, only with "optimized" iPad graphics.
This one is also available for free for an undisclosed amount of time, and doesn't have a rating as well.
Browser4two ($.99 -> Free): Alright, so this one is kind of a gimmicky app with a fairly low rating (currently two-star), but it's a neat concept, so just give it a try. The app allows two people to view two different websites on the same iPad. The downside, and the reason it has such a low rating, is that each person doesn't have their own keyboard. Bringing it up on one side of the screen will take it away from the other.
Browser4two is available for free for a limited time.
This is the first day we have included iTunes star ratings with each app per your requests. Enjoy!
