Pepsi Looks For More Fizz This Summer

June 3, 2010

Pepsi has just rolled out a new app that promises its customers a little kick along with the fizz. Pepsi Loot will help you identify your nearest Pepsi Spots, which are simply stores and restaurants that sell Pepsi brand products, and by visiting these locations you will automatically qualify for free music downloads and other cool treats.

For example, by visiting three separate Pepsi Spots you will qualify you for a free music download from the Pepsi Loot Store. This music can then be played on your computer or downloaded into your iTunes library.  From time-to-time, free video links are also included and seem to change weekly.

Recent free video links include ones by Neon Trees, Katherine McPhee, and just today - the “Dedicate Soul” Living Room Session by Tamar Kaprelian has also been posted.

You can also search for what other treats each Spot has to offer (besides Pepsi!). This means that if you are in the mood for pizza, Pepsi Loot will identify the nearest pizza location, and include its address, phone number and menu - if available. Naturally, Pepsi Loot comes with plenty of Pepsi advertising, links to its Twitter and Facebook page, plus much more.

Pepsi Loot can be downloaded for free and can be used on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
