If you are old enough to even recall playing the above device, or if you are so young that you think this might be the second generation Nintendo Wii, than we have great news for you! For the past three years, users have managed to run SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) games on their (jailbroken) iPhones, but only to the extent of the cramped screen. However, a developer has seen a new light, and has decided to bring the original hacker's port to the iPad, but with a twist: iPhones (and iPod Touches) can be used as the controllers via Bluetooth!
SNES HD has a great looking interface, and it looks to bring back the old memories of the beloved console. Also, with the new iPhones-as-controllers scheme, multiplayer parties are coming soon to your neighborhood. The app allows up to four iDevices to be connected to the iPad, allowing games to be played to their full possibilities.
The application has not been fully tested yet, but it is planned to be released soon. In the meantime, check out the demonstration video:
