We’d all be surprised if an iPad camera isn’t being cooked up in Cupertino to eventually be released at some grand Apple function such as WWDC. Us fanboys would cheer in anticipation, because that is what we do when Steve Jobs announces the next big thing.
Of course, if someone makes a third-party camera device to work with an iPad in the meantime, that would be a great idea too. iPadevice has released the following concept photos that show what a possible iPad camera would look like, and yes I will admit this: I would buy one in a heartbeat.
What I like most about this concept is that the camera and dock are integrated into the iPad. Neither would require a hardware upgrade, saving each of us first-generation iPad owners big bucks.
But remember, this is only a concept. Still, since Apple does allow external hardware perhaps this isn't such a pipe dream!
