Glu Brings Hunting To The Big Screen With Deer Hunter 3D For iPad

Even if you aren't a fan of hunting games, you have to appreciate what Glu has done with Deer Hunter 3D for iPad. The environments look great thanks to the iPad's higher resolution display, and popping off that perfect shot is more intuitive than ever before.
Once you set your sights on a deer, moose, sheep, rabbit, or bear, you can steady your shot for a split second and then fire. Hopefully your first shot is true, because other animals in the area will scatter, and shooting a moving one is obviously way more difficult than a stationary one. A scope can also be deployed to hunt down animals further in the distance, but it still won't be an easy task.
The game features four worldwide locations with 30 different shooting environments, 13 weapons to choose from, seven types of animals, trophies that can be shared with friends, and the ability to hone your skills by participating in hunting trips. Deer Hunter 3D for iPad also features an interactive GPS map where you can search for traces of animals and take to the hunt if you feel confident that a trophy buck is nearby.
Deer Hunter 3D for iPad is now available in the App Store for $9.99. Glu also offers the ability to add to the experience via in-app purchase, with five different packs priced at $.99 each and feature new equipment, weapons, and skill upgrades.
