iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: iQuarters, Audio Memos 2, Sideways And More

Today's list features quite a few iPad compatible apps, including an entertaining digital drinking game, an audio recorder, and the first digital magazine written exclusively for the iPad.
Doodle Egg ($.99 -> Free): A physics-based puzzle game with doodle graphics. The goal is to drop the egg onto one of the many tools that you must arrange in order to get it to land safely in the basket. The game features 30 pre-loaded levels, the ability to create your own and share them with friends, and OpenFeint integration.
Doodle Egg is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating.
Mindracer Duel ($.99 -> Free): In this game your mind is your fuel. Solve math problems as quickly as possible in order to be the first one to pass the finish line. You can take on the clock in single player mode, or embarrass your friends by going head-to-head in multiplayer mode. Scores can be posted to Twitter as well.
Mindracer Duel is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time, which means that if you are really interested in obtaining this one for free, do it now. It has a three-star rating.
Universal:
Audio Memos 2 ($.99 -> Free): An audio recorder that's easy to use and yet full of powerful features. The app features position markers, voice activated recording, adjustable reading speed, the ability to add pictures, search, edit, and share recordings.
Audio Memos 2 is available for free today only (7/20). It has a three-star rating.
iQuarters ($1.99 -> Free): The popular drinking game now in digital form. Flick quarters off of the table and into glasses in order to obtain the highest score. You can change the trajectory of your quarter before flicking, and the speed of your flick will determine the distance. The game features tons of different glass orientations with different obstacles, multiple modes of play, replays, and leaderboards.
iQuarters is available for free today only (7/20). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
The Monkeys Who Tried to Catch the Moon ($.99 -> Free): A multi-language children's eBook. The app features brightly colored illustrations to help keep your child interested in the story. The book can be read aloud automatically by professional narrators, or your child can do the page turning all on their own.
The Monkeys Who Tried to Catch the Moon is available for free through July 22nd. It has a five-star rating.
iPad only:
Sideways 10.07 ($3.99 -> Free): The second issue of this digital magazine written exclusively for the iPad. It features all kinds of information regarding the iPad and only the iPad, with more than three hours of multimedia entertainment.
