Today's list took a bit longer to construct thanks to the App Store having
review outages, but as you can see, we eventually got it figured out. The list contains an interesting QR code reader and creator, another flashlight app, and a education game for your children.
Jelly Roll ($1.99 -> Free): A puzzle game much like the acclaimed
Edge, but instead of rolling a cube, you will be rolling a Penguin encapsulated in jelly. Roll the penguin in as few moves as possible to the space station hole. As you progress, you will be required to hit switches and other items to make it to the end, but you must try to avoid falling off the edge because you will have to start all over. The game features four different worlds with a handful of levels in each, and OpenFeint integration.

Dreamscape ($.99 -> Free): A frantic tapping game where you are required to pop a specific number of bubbles before time expires. Bubbles can travel over the top of each other, so tapping in certain areas can pop more than one bubble. If you tap an area without hitting a bubble, you will lose a shot. Lose all of your shots and the game is over. It also features a power-up bubbles, evil bubbles, and online leaderboards.
Dreamscape is available for free today only (7/9). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
QR+Emoji ($2.99 -> Free): A QR creator and reader. Use your iPhone's camera to read QR codes (barcodes), or import an image of one and read it that way. You can also create your own note, SMS, mail, phone, place, and bookmark QR Codes, acting like a sort of message encryptor.
QR+Emoji is available for free until the next update, which could happen at any moment. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
Warblade ($.99 -> Free): A vertical shooter that features three different methods of control, multiple modes of play, 100 levels, secrets to discover, and OpenFeint integration.

BreakNumber ($.99 -> Free): A challenging math game where you are required to tap blocks in order to equal the target number at the top of the screen before it fills up with blocks. The game features three modes of play, with games based on addition, subtraction, and multiplication. It also features OpenFeint integration.
BreakNumber is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It currently has a four-star rating.
Flashlight ($.99 -> Free): Another iPhone 4 LED flashlight app gone free. This one displays a black screen when the LED is in use to reduce glare. It also instantly turns your iPhone 4's LED on when launched.

Turtletopia ($.99 -> Free): An entertainment app that allows you to create and control your own private paradise. You can surround yourself with relaxing sounds to create a tropical paradise, or watch the turtles follow your finger through the water. You can also feed the turtles, change the time of day, and buy new items at the shop.
Turtletopia is available for free until July 21st. It has a four-star rating.
Universal:
Dots 4 Tots ($.99 -> Free): An educational game for young children. It features four different categories -- shapes, animals, numbers, and letters -- where each dot connected creates an image. If your child doesn't correctly follow the sequence, it will simply break and allow him or her to try again. The game also features additional categories available as $.99 in-app purchases.
