iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Spin My Party, Sketch Journal, Drag Racer: Pro Tuner HD And More

Our list has returned to its usual form with tons of quality iPhone apps having gone free, like Breakspin, Spin My Party and Chain Link Pro. iPad users are in for a treat as well thanks to the popular car tuning app, Drag Racer: Pro Tuner HD, having gone free.
Dodge Star ($.99 -> Free): As the name describes, you are in control of a star and you must dodge the other stars, fireworks and other items trying to bring you down. The star is controlled via a special four-way keypad. The game also features two-player support on the same device where you compete head-t0-head, and online leaderboards.
Dodge Star is available for free until July 17th. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating.
Advanced ROX ($.99 -> Free): An Asteroids-like arcade game where you take control of one of four ships and try to stay alive in a rock field. Moving the ship is done via touching anywhere on the screen. The fire button is located in the lower left-hand corner. Your ship is able to move quicker when not firing. After collecting enough orbs, you are able to upgrade your ship.
Advanced ROX is available for free today only (7/15). It has a four-star rating.
Breakspin ($2.99 -> Free): A brick breaker-like game, only you have two separate paddles that move around a circle. In the game you control your paddles via sliders with the goal of hitting and removing all of the objects in the middle of the screen without allowing the ball to pass by. The game features colorful and rich graphics, dozens of levels, online leaderboards, achievements, power-ups and local Bluetooth multiplayer.
Breakspin is available for free today only (7/15). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
CameraLight ($.99 -> Free): Because you can never have enough camera app options for your new iPhone 4. Simply open the app and the LED turns on, illuminating everything in front of you. You can switch the LED on or off, or take low light pictures as well.
CameraLight is now free for eternity, or at least that's what we will assume. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
Kung Fu Touch ($.99 -> Free): A reaction-based game where you must stop the objects from hitting your master by slicing them to pieces. The game features an arcade mode with different environments to unlock, two-player mode via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and OpenFeint integration.
Kung Fu Touch is available for free today only (7/15). It has a three-star rating.
Chain Link Pro ($.99 -> Free): A matching game of sorts where you are required to tap and drag colored shapes into a vortex. You can create chains of shapes to earn multipliers by dragging like ones into each other before dragging them to the vortex, but you must be sure not to hit other non-like shapes, otherwise you will lose a life. The game features tons of different power-ups, four game modes and OpenFeint integration.
Chain Link Pro is available for free today only (7/15). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
Spin My Party ($1.99 -> Free): The ultimate party app for your iPhone. Spin My Party features a collection of six pre-made games, and the ability to create your very own. In each game, players are required to spin the wheel and receive a challenge to perform. If they are able to, they earn the points indicated on the wheel. Whoever reaches the game ending score first, wins.
Spin My Party is available for free through July 22nd. It has a four-star rating.
Universal:
Barbarians ($.99 -> Free): A sort of castle defense game where your goal is to hold off the invading barbarian horde. Items appear right in front of you, such as rocks, beams and bombs, and you are required to simply flick them at the invading forces. The game features 3D graphics, physics and a local leaderboard.
Barbarians is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a three-star rating.
iPad only:
Drag Racer: Pro Tuner HD ($5.99 -> Free): Like the iPhone version, only optimized for iPad. The game allows you to create custom stickers, paint jobs and more from your own photos, and then put them on your car. You can sure your unique creations online. It also features tuning gear, nitrous oxide and much more in order to help you beat your foes in a drag race.
Drag Racer: Pro Tuner HD is available for free today only (7/15). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
Sketch Journal ($1.99 -> Free): An iPad app for the artistic AppAdvice reader. It allows you to create an unlimited number of sketch books, each with its own name and paper style. You can choose from four paper types, four kinds of pens and brushes and a wide range of colors. It also features the ability to share your creations via email, sports unlimited undos and an eraser.
Sketch Journal is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating.
