Tethering Hidden In Flashlight App, Now Gone

You have to give him credit for trying it again. The master behind the Netshare app once again tried to get a place at the App Store table. The app in question allows tethering on an iPhone without, of course, actually paying for it. On at least one other occasion, the app's developer tried and failed to get past the Apple approval process.
This time, he tried to get clever by placing the tethering option in a flashlight app called Handy Light. He even posted the following step-by-step instruction video on YouTube:
But, it wasn't meant to be. The app was pulled from the App Store after only a few hours. The most interesting part of this story: according to 9 to 5 Mac, the developer is, in fact, just 15 years old!
