Tilt To Live Gets Frostbite - One Of The Best iPhone Games Gets Updated Again

Tilt To Live was a great game with one gameplay mode when it was first released. Now after the fourth major update that was released last night there are four game modes in total with the newest being Frostbite. The mode gives you a constant stream of frozen red dots falling from the top to the bottom. Your goal is to shatter them before the reach the hot spring at the bottom which warms them up to come after you. The mode begins by giving you a bubble shield, but there will only be one weapon at your disposal in this mode. It's a brand new weapon called the Burnicade which you earn by filling the progress meter for each dot destroyed. Burnicade lights your arrow on fire, and launches it in the direction you point leaving a trail of fire in your wake. This fire line lasts for a little, and burns melted red dots, and new incoming frozen dots. This is your only weapon though, and it only comes as often as you can destroy a certain number of dots meaning this is more of a survival mode. Also included are seven new awards, and when you get to a certain score level in Frostbite mode you unlock Burnicade to be used in the other modes. It's great to see Tilt To Live to continue being updated, and it provides a brand new reason to jump back in the game, and spend quite a lot of time with it.
