Zen Bound 2 Goes Universal, Gains iPhone 4-Specific Features And Fast App Switching Support
July 21, 2010
Exactly one week ago we let you know that Secret Exit's gorgeous rope wrapping game, Zen Bound 2, would be gaining universal support in the near future, and that future is now. Zen Bound 2 has just been updated to support all iDevices running iOS 3.1 or later, while also receiving a few other worthy enhancements.
Zen Bound 2 was formerly an iPad-only game that featured some of the best graphics around, and now those amazing graphics can be witnessed on all iDevices. iPhone 3GS, third-generation iPod touch, and iPad users will be able to view improved shadows, lighting, and paint spread all thanks to OpenGL ES 2.0. But iPhone 4 users are the ones in for the real treat since the game now features Retina and gyroscope support, giving you some of the best visuals around and even more accurate rope control.
In addition to all of that, Zen Bound 2 also now features fast app switching support for iOS 4 users, and achievements to provide an extra challenge.
If you haven't had the chance to experience Zen Bound 2 and all of its over 100 rope wrapping levels because, you know, you didn't have an iPad and all, there is no better time than the present thanks to all of the little graphical extras Secret Exit was able to stuff in there. The game also recently received a price drop from $7.99 to $2.99, so you have no more excuses.
