August 14, 2010
As you know, there are plenty of new apps hitting the App Store every day (about 600/day lately). The thing is, most of them are Flashlight and Radio apps, so it’s not easy to find the little gems in all the clutter. Let us take care of that for you, it’s Appfresh daily:
Cut My Cake (iPhone) helps you cut a cake into equal parts by overlaying the live camera feed with the cut lines.
It goes for $0.99.
StickyDoo with iAssist (iPhone) is a "personal task manager with an integrated intelligent personal assistant, that weaves relevant information right into your task so that you never have to take your eyes off the task at hand. Just enter your task description, and iAssist will automagically assist you just when you need it!". Sounds too good to be true. It goes for $9.99.
GFY (iPhone) is a venting platform. It's pretty much like FML.
This type of app tends to be a lot of fun.
And, it's free.
mbDriveHD (iPad) turns "your iPad into wireless flash disk." [sic] It doesn't require a companion app and it also supports iTunes file sharing.
Seems convenient. Goes for $2.99.
Bartender Crash Course (iPhone) will teach you all the basics you need to know to serve drinks and make cocktails.
It's based on 300 flashcards and it's completely free.
Calvetica (iPhone) is a simple and fast to calendar app. It syncs with Google, Facebook and Exchange. It's getting quickadviced by Christine as we speak so check back later for more details. It goes for $2.99.
That's it for today folks. If we missed anything (No, right?), share it with us in the comments.
