Glu Needs You To Help Alan The Blob Escape From NOM

Glu Mobile has just released a brand new freemium physics-based puzzle game titled Escape from NOM. It's cute, colorful, relatively simplistic, and loaded with iAds.
In Escape from NOM, you are required to help Alan, the cute little blob, do as the game's title describes and escape from the nasty NOMs. To do so, you will have to nudge Alan off of the ledge and into the pool of colored goo at the bottom of the screen without hitting any of the NOMs on the way down. But that's not all, you will also have to make sure Alan is the same color as the goo he is going into, which is accomplished by hitting colored bumpers.
Each of the 30 included levels requires you to do something a little different. Some have stationary objects where you must align Alan in order to complete a level, while others give you a tray of items to place wherever you wish to accomplish the task. At the end of each level you will receive one of three medals based on how many times it took you to actually complete the level, and how many yellow flowers you nabbed on the way down.
Controlling Alan is done by sliding him side-to-side at the top of the screen. A dotted line will indicate his general movement down the screen, Peggle-style. You can move Alan more accurately with the spin wheel at the bottom.
The game also sports a level editor, allowing you to have a go at creating your own unique levels that can be uploaded to Glu's servers for anyone to download. You can, of course, download other players' levels, but they come at a cost. This is one of the ways Glu will be making its money. Each level download costs a single credit, whether its a download from Glu or from a random player. You are automatically given five credits just by downloading the game, and more are available via in-app purchase. 20 new levels and additional level creator items are available via in-app purchase as well.
Escape from NOM, with its 30 levels, level creator, and iAds, is available for free in the App Store.
