iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Cash Cab, GemSudoku HD, Bubble Rockit And More

Today's list features a trivia game based on a popular TV show, a casual endless game, a shiny twist on the game of sudoku and more.

Bubble Rockit ($.99 -> Free): An endless climbing game where you control a rocket that is powered by bubbles. Tilt your device side to side to steer your rocket towards the bubbles which power your rocket. Miss enough bubbles and you will plummet back to the surface. You can collect stars to add to your score, which also give you an extra boost when you need it most.
Bubble Rockit is available for free through the weekend. It has a five-star rating, and a total of six ratings.
Cash Cab ($2.99 -> Free): Play the hit TV trivia game on your iDevice. Answer all kinds of questions from categories like history, pop culture, science and more without making a mistake. Make three mistakes and you must leave the Cash Cab. The game features 21 destinations, broadcast quality video, online leaderboards and the ability to obtain upgrade packs via in-app purchase.
Cash Cab is available for free today only (8/14). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 1,111 ratings.
Penalty World Challenge 2010 ($.99 -> Free): Take turns kicking and defending goals. Kicking is done by tapping the screen to determine the power of your shot, and then swiping in the direction you want the ball to go. You are able to defend the goal by simply tapping where you think the ball is headed. The game features two modes of play, and OpenFeint integration.
Penalty World Challenge 2010 is available for free today only (8/14). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 28 ratings.
iDragPaper ($.99 -> Free): A fairly simple game where you must unroll toilet paper as fast as possible by swiping your finger. The game features three modes of play, one of which requires you to pull the paper as fast as possible while also trying to avoid tearing it off. The game features OpenFeint integration.
iDragPaper is available for free through the weekend. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 96 ratings.
GemSudoku ($.99 -> Free): Sudoku with gems. You can play the regular game of sudoku, sudoku with gems or gem-only sudoku. Gems come in nine different colors, so no matter how you play, it's still the same game you love; just with shiny gems. The game also features multiple difficulty levels, and local high scores.
GemSudoku is available for free through the weekend. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 12 ratings.
Universal:
Marple ($1.99 -> Free): A puzzle game where you must figure out the correct order of the 20 given tiles spread across four rows and five columns by utilizing the many clues. If at any time you get stuck you can use a hint or simply reset the board. The game features OpenFeint integration as well.
Marple is available for free today only (8/14). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 21 ratings.
iPad only:
GemSudoku for iPad ($1.99 -> Free): Just like the iPhone version above, only with iPad-optimized graphics.
GemSudoku for iPad is available for free through the weekend. It doesn't currently have an average rating, but since it is identical to the iPhone version gameplay-wise, we decided to include it.
