This is another one of those "we were initially only going to highlight one game that is currently on sale, but found a few more" sale articles. We also figured since today's "Apps Gone Free" was a tad short, you could use another opportunity to fill your iDevice with some quality apps. Asphalt 5 ($4.99 -> $.99): Gameloft's hit arcade racing game that really needs no introduction. It was recently updated to support the iPhone 4's gorgeous Retina display, and allows you to use its gyroscope if you so choose. Those running iOS 4 are also now able to take advantage of fast app switching. Check out our in-depth review of Asphalt 5 to learn more. iPad only: Worms HD ($4.99 -> $2.99): Just like the iPhone version of the game, only blown up to fit on the iPad's screen. Some users have complained that the game's graphics have some scaling issues, but the gameplay still delivers. Worms HD features 50 challenges, six environments, four-player multiplayer, and much more. The iPhone version of Worms is still on sale as well for $2.99. Zombie Invasion 2 HD ($3.99 -> $.99): Here's a title that we haven't talked about yet on AppAdvice, but fans of zombie games are sure to enjoy it. Zombie Invasion 2 HD is an iPad-only sequel to the hit game released for the iPhone back in late 2008. It has you attempting to survive for as long as possible by unleashing your myriad of upgradable weapons on the oncoming zombies. Simply tap to shoot in the direction of the invading forces to put them in their place. The game also allows you to choose between four battlegrounds. All three games listed above are on sale for a limited time, and each are, surprisingly, at their lowest prices ever, so take advantage of this opportunity while you can.
