QuickAdvice: Simplify Your To-do List with Just Tasks
Just Tasks by Big-Oh Studios ($.99) is a to-do app to appeal to the minimalist.
If there's one thing you may have noticed with a lot of to-do apps in the App Store currently, you may notice that a lot of them have tons of features and options, and sometimes that just isn't what you're looking for. Not everyone that is looking for a to-do app is looking for a powerhouse, and this is where Just Tasks comes in.
As the name implies, Just Tasks does one thing only - tasks. There is no sync feature and there are no complexities in the app. If you have a new task, simply add it with the + button. Then, just enter the task and you're done.
The item will automatically appear in the list of 'Not Completed.' If you complete the task, tap the check mark and it's moved to 'Completed.' That's it. Items that are older than a day will automatically be deleted. Did you accidentally tap a box but didn't really complete it? Tap it again, and it moves back to the 'Not Completed' section. The Edit button allows users to delete any item that isn't needed, such as accidental entries or old items.
This app really applies to the minimalist that just wants a quick way to enter a task and get rid of it as quickly as possible, without having to worry about cumbersome features that they don't need. Get the task in, finish it, check it off, and move on to the next. No due dates to worry about, priorities, location, notes, contexts, etc. None of that applies, and most of the time, not all of that is needed anyway.
If you're tired of being overburdened with a lot of unnecessary features or cluttered interfaces, and want just a minimal to-do app, then I believe that Just Tasks is waiting for you. For a buck, it just gets the job done. Unless you'd prefer to carry around the old-fashioned paper and pen.
