NinJump (Free) by Backflip Studios is a new casual endless game from Backflip Studios who have brought you similar games including Paper Toss and Ragdoll Blaster. This time the game has you playing as a Ninja trying to climb as high as possible dodging multiple enemies along the way. If you think to yourself, wait isn't that similar to Ninjatown Trees of Doom then you would be right.
You can, but compare this game to Ninjatown even if they were made at the same time, but published at different schedule. Ninjump is free with the option to remove the ads for $0.99 though the ads don't interfere with gameplay much. Your ninja runs up the walls automatically, and you simply tap to jump back and forth.
During your ascent you will come across ninja stars, birds, squirrels, and other ninjas going down while you're going up. If you run into these objects you will fall, but if you jump into them you'll slice them with a sword chop. If you collect three of the same objects in a row you get a specific power-up based on the type collected.
The game is simple and fun as you would expect from Backflip Studios, but it is inferior in every way to Ninjatown. For example you have more control in Ninjatown by pressing to control your ascent, and moving your finger to control the angle of your jump. The cute art style of Ninjatown is far superior, and is one of the reasons to keep coming back to the game
Ninjump visuals are relatively basic, and that's a good way to describe the whole game. The enemies are easier to deal with in Ninjump as they are fewer and far in between with a more consistent timing.
If you're interested in this type of game I suggest you pick up Ninjatown:Trees of Doom instead.
