Tuition Tab Helps Track How Much Of Your Tuition Has Been Wasted - Plus A Chance To Win A Copy
August 9, 2010
College move-in day is just around the corner, and with it comes a whole lot of worrying and adjusting to an entirely new way of life. The one thing you shouldn't have to worry your little head about is how much of your tuition money your college professors will be wasting by showing up late or canceling your classes altogether, but sadly, it is a fact of college life. To help keep track of and possibly recoup some of that lost tuition money, Logan Moore created the newly released iPhone and iPod touch app, Tuition Tab; and today we will be offering you a chance to win a copy. But first, a little something about Tuition Tab.
Tuition Tab allows you to easily keep track of every time your college professor was late to class or completely cancelled it in order to give you a fairly close idea of how much of your money has been wasted as a result. Before you start keeping tabs on your tardy professors, you will need to obtain the necessary information -- cost per semester hour, the number of days a particular class will meet, length of class, class credit hours -- from your university's website.
Once all necessary information has been obtained and entered, arrive to class on time and launch the app. You will be able to select which class you are in from the main menu, and then simply hit the start button to begin recording the amount of time your professor is late by. A running tally will be kept every single time you record tardiness, including if a class has been cancelled entirely. At the end of the semester, you can choose to send an email with your results to your professor asking for reimbursement, although the likelihood of actually receiving one may be slim.
Tuition Tab is available in the App Store for $.99. If this sounds like something that could be of use to you, here's your chance to win a copy and save that $.99.
